The 4 day Backcountry Avalanche Course is a comprehensive backcountry avalanche skills course. The 4 day Backcountry Avalanche Course is for recreational backcountry skiers and snow boarders. This course is the next step course is you have previously participated on an Avalanche Awareness Course or the Backcountry Travel Course. As part of the course you will receive the New Zealand Mountain Safety Council MSC Backcountry Avalanche Certificate and Avalanche Transceiver Certificate of Competency.

6 day big mountain skiing program designed for skiers & snowboarders to learn ski mountaineering and backcountry avalanche skills in glaciated terrain. The 6 day course includes the NZ Mountain Safety Council (MSC) Backcountry Avalanche Qualification.
